Ping Li is Professor of Psychology, Linguistics, and Information Sciences at Penn State, Co-Chair of the Huck Institutes' graduate program in neuroscience, and Co-Director of the Center for Brain, Behavior and Cognition (CBBC).

He is also Editor of Bilingualism: Language and Cognition, Associate Editor of the Journal of Neurolinguistics, Associate Editor of Frontiers in Language Sciences, and President of the Society for Computers in Psychology, and has served as Program Director for the National Science Foundation's Program in Perception, Action, and Cognition, and principal investigator, co-investigator, or consultant for many projects funded by the National Science Foundation.
