Dr. Melissa Rolls, Assistant Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Director of the Center for Cellular Dynamics, had her research highlighted in the Press Book for the 49th Annual Meeting of the American Society for Cell Biology.

From over 2500 abstract submissions the Society chose 10 to highlight in the press book.

The presentation by Dr. Rolls and Genetics student Michelle Stone was entitled Reversal of Neuronal Polarity after Axon Removal: Converting of a Dendrite into a Regenerating Axon by Rebuilding in the Microbtubule Cytoskeleton. (Abstract in PDF, page 13).
