Penn State will reimburse accepted Huck Institutes Undergraduate Research Scholars for travel and provide accommodations for participation in the annual Penn State Life Sciences Symposium. At the symposium, Huck Institutes Undergraduate Research Scholars will be provided opportunities to explore life sciences research labs, centers of excellence, and core instrumentation facilities; meet with our world-class faculty; learn about life sciences graduate programs and network with the dynamic life sciences research community; and present a poster of their research.
To apply: Submit Name, Undergraduate Institution, Graduation month/year, a one-page description of your research interests and career goals, an unofficial transcript, a letter of reference from your primary research adviser, a 500-word abstract of your research (optional). Up to six undergraduate research scholars will be selected to participate.
